The 14th Brooklyn Gravestone Fund.

We, the members of the 14th Regiment NYSM Company E Living History Association, have dedicated ourselves to the preservation of the memory and history of these great men who so gallantly gave of themselves to preserve the Union.

As you will see from these pages, we have listed the military history and some account of their personal life when available. If you are a descendant of any of these men, or have information regarding their life or burial site, we would appreciate hearing from you.

Through the efforts of our Genealogist Anthony DellaRocca, the descendants of these men, and others, we have been fortunate to locate the gravesites of some of the original members of the regiment. Unfortunately there is much work that remains to be accomplished.

Some of these gravestones are in disarray and some of the gravesites are devoid of a gravestone completely. We have started a fund to either replace or repair these gravestones. This fund is not specific to company E members only, it is for the restoration of the gravesites of all 14th Regiment N.Y.S.M. members.
