Looking the properties, all looks ok. Missing network adapter, but device manager OK Hi all.
This is what I had already try: You can restore the system to the way it was when you got it, complete with proper drivers. The problem was resolved reinstalling windows, so it wasn’t an adapter problem.
ACER Aspire X drivers for Windows 7 bit
Uninstalled the NIC adapter in device manager. Acer Aspire X I downloaded the driver for this computer and installed it, and it said at the end could not find realtek ethernet controller. Boot windows, shutdown, re-enable the adapter in BIOS, and reboot. Select Your Operating System, download zipped files, and then proceed to manually install them.

I did a scan for hardware changed and nothing. Reinstalled the chipset drivers. Last week I was reinstalling windows and all the applications. Finally my PC got up to speed!

I reinstalled the NIC drivers. Similar help and support threads Thread Forum Missing Network adapter icon in device manager I recently purchased a computer from a private seller.
I have tried finding it in Device Manager and the icon is not there. Email Required, but never shown. Disabled the NIC adapter in device manager, reboot and re-enable.
The network is setup fine, but one thing I noticed is that there is no network controller in the device manager. Try a replacement for the card – it won’t break controllerr bank.

Reboot and re-install the drivers when windows detect the new hw. It doesn’t even have to be an exact replacement – any recognized mainstream brand of the right specifications should do. Also there are 2 realtek drivers on the website try installing both. Then I rebooted and reinstalled the drivers when windows detected the new hw.
Recover the system from an old recover point, but no change. I have an Atheros network driver folder on my desktop so I ran the Windows 7 Conroller Premium x This option requires basic OS understanding.
