We got the RDAC going and when we boot the MPP kernel the “LUN bouncing” stopped, but am worried about the kernel patching issues also, but are hoping to get the cluster working in the meantime. We are using linux nssmu, and when we pick Initialize it only takes the 20 Mb SBD space and puts a 16 kb yes, kilobyte! Novell vs4700 currently looking at the latest batch of log files and going to provide a recommendation, so may end up ditching RDAC. If working fine, is there any reason to get RDAC working again?

Results 1 to 10 of If we re-zone the SAN fabric so that each host only has one path to the storage, then everything works fine, xs4700 makes me think it’s a config issue somwhere between the hardware storage or HBAQLogic driver or RDAC driver.

To get things stable, we have had to re-zone the fabric so that we only have one path. We have a DS The failover works fine, if I put a controller offline the device is still reachable from the other path.
We are working on a fix.
Posted December 7, We are booting the correct image as I updated the menu. It prioritized the IO traffic so it ss4700 stay on the preferred path. Are you using the native multipath tools?

Check that the driver is working. I already checked the HCL. We initially tried the multipath tools with no success, however at the time we had AVT enabled on the storage and haven’t tried it again since disabling AVT.
